CORONAVIRUS UPDATE / The Ministry of Health updated the list of countries

17/8/2020

Dear clients,

The Ministry of Health has updated the list of countries at low risk of infection with COVID-19, from now:

with effect from 17 August 2020:

− employers and end-users of workers who are nationals of countries not on the list of countries with low risk of infection with COVID-19 or nationals of designated countries who have resided for more than 12 hours in the last 14 days in the territory of those states, to prevent the entry of these persons to all establishments and workplaces of the given employer if these persons do not simultaneously submit a negative test (RT-PCR) for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 from the territory of the Czech Republic, newly for the following countries:

  •  The Kingdom of Belgium
  •  Republic of Malta

this obligation does not newly apply to the countries - the Portuguese Republic and the Kingdom of Sweden

the obligation to test remained for - the Duchy of Luxembourg, the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Spain

with effect from 24 August 2020, the Kingdom of Spain was removed from the list and it will now be a country with a “high risk of infection” - after 24 August 2020 it will be necessary to undergo either a RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 / otherwise the Regional Hygiene Station will decide on isolation.

! this obligation will not apply to the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, which, even after 24 August 2020, is considered as a country with a "low risk of infection."

In case of any questions about the above, we of course remain available to you.
