Dear clients,

yesterday evening, changes to the extraordinary measures about which we have informed you in our yesterday’s legal update, were hastily issued. Specifically:

Extraordinary measure – wearing respiratory protective equipment – new wording is available here

• new effective date on 18. 9. 2020 (0:00) – thus already effective!

• the original extraordinary measure did not enter into force

• compared to the original extraordinary measure, the exemption from wearing respiratory protective equipment in schools, school facilities and universities is abolished (the exemption remains valid for first stage primary school students)

Extraordinary measure – restrictions on establishments and operation of services – new wording is available here.

• new effective date on 19. 9. 2020 (0:00)

• the original extraordinary measure shall be effective only during today between 18:00 - 0:00

• new obligation is added – public’s presence in catering establishments between 0:00 and 6:00 is banned (with an exemption for non-public catering establishments; establishments with a vending window / sale of take-away food with no entry to the establishment)
