Dear clients,
as we informed you, with effect from tomorrow, i.e. 1. 9. 2020, the following extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health will enter into force:
Extraordinary measure - wearing respiratory protective equipment (full text here), stipulates the prohibition of movement and residence without respiratory protective equipment, namely:
• In the interiors of buildings:
− in which public authorities and administrative bodies carry out their activities;
− in medical facilities;
− in social services facilities (weekly hospitals, homes for people with disabilities, for the elderly, etc.)
− in polling stations
and in public transport.
There are some exceptions to the above - see extraordinary measure.
Extraordinary measure - restrictions on mass events (full text here), restricts and prohibits festivities, theater and film performances, sports and other gatherings and markets by:
• prohibition of events exceeding the participation of 1 000 people at the same time (if the event takes place mainly outdoors) or the participation of 500 people (if the event takes place mainly indoors);
• wearing respiratory protective equipment at events that exceed the participation of 100 people at the same time (if the event takes place mainly indoors).
Exceptions are again provided for the obligations mentioned above.
Extraordinary measure - isolation and quarantine (full text here), which orders health service providers and hygienic stations order isolation for 10 days (minimum) for persons with a positive test for SARS-CoV-2 - subsequently, isolation will end in persons who do not show symptoms after 10 days - without having to take another test // persons who show symptoms, the isolation lasts for the duration of the symptoms and ends after 3 days after which the person does not show symptoms, or is able to explain their origin in another way - again without the need for a test.
In the case of persons who, on the basis of an epidemiological inquiry, have been found to be in close contact with a positive person, they shall order quarantine measures for at least 10 days from the date of the last contact with the positive person. The first test is then performed on such persons within 1-5 days from the last contact with the positive person, the second no earlier than 10 days from the date of the last contact with the positive person. In the case of a negative second test, the quarantine measure is terminated for the asymptomatic person, and in the case of a positive test, the procedure is as indicated above.
At the same time, extraordinary measures were issued by the Regional Hygiene Station with its registered office in Ostrava, No. 22 (here) and No. 23 (here), which abolish the obligations set out in extraordinary measures of the Regional Hygiene Station No. 20 and No. 21, which we informed you about here, with effect from 31. 8. 2020 (11:59 pm), no special restrictions will apply in the territory of the Moravian-Silesian Region and only the above mentioned extraordinary measures of the Ministry of Health valid for the entire Czech Republic will apply.
