Jakub Dostál is an attorney at FORLEX. He focuses primarily on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, energy law and the law of obligations.

Jakub Dostál joined FORLEX in 2021 as an associate and from 2024 as a permanent associate.

In the field of corporate law, Jakub Dostál focuses on the day-to-day operation and management of business corporations (corporate governance), as well as on structural changes, transformations, establishment of business corporations, and liquidations.

In the area of acquisitions, he has been involved in a number of transactions both on the sellers and buyers side, in particular in conducting legal due diligence and the subsequent negotiation of contractual documentation.

In the field of energy law, Jakub Dostál is involved in providing legal services to clients operating on the Czech electricity market.

In the field of contractual law, Jakub Dostál prepared and reviewed contractual and other documentation in various areas of industry, transport and others.

In all the mentioned fields, Jakub Dostál participates in providing legal services to both domestic and foreign clients.

Jakub Dostál is a graduate of Law and Legal Science at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno. During his studies, he participated in a number of internships and also completed a one-semester study at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. After completing his studies, he worked for almost a year in an international law firm in Ostrava. He joined FORLEX in 2021 as an associate and from 2024 as an attorney.
